This course follows the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and industry recommendations for provision of First Aid in an education and care setting. This course specifically applies to educators and support staff caring for infants and children.
Upon successful completion, the student will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.

Participants in this course should be able to:
Kneel or sit on the floor during practical first aid activities.
Perform basic first aid tasks, such as bandaging, applying pressure, and assisting children or adults safely.
Demonstrate CPR techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breaths.
Respond quickly and calmly in emergency scenarios, which may involve physical activity and movement.
