Re-Register

In order to extend your qualification with Active Training, you are required to provide evidence of current competency. The applicant is required to have worked regularly and recently in the specified area and a reregistration fee of $85.00 per Active Training certificate is applicable. If re-registering from another Training Organisation a fee of $110.00 will apply.

You are eligible to re-register providing you meet the following criteria:

  • Your qualification is nearing expiry and you can provide evidence of working in the industry
  • Your qualification has expired and you can provide evidence of working in the industry for the period of expiry.

Note: If your qualification has expired, your re-registration will be backdated to the original expiration date and will incur an additional $20.00 late/administration fee.

You are ineligible to re-register if:

  • Your qualification has expired and you have not been working in the industry.

Note: If the above applies you will be required to complete the relevant course in its entirety at your own expense.

Note: Some employers will require swimming instructors to update their rescue and resuscitation qualifications, please check with your employer as Active Training can assist you with this via the ‘Perform Water Rescues’ and CPR Courses.

The units of competence for the Swimming and Water Safety course have been replaced and you will be required to complete some bridging work to transfer across to the new units. You will be given 2 weeks to complete the required work (included in your re-registration fee) otherwise further fees will be charged.
