Theory and practical assessments will be conducted during the course. There may also be post course assessments required.

The Pool Plant Operator Refresher course will provide the student with skills and knowledge required to perform routine checks and complete minor maintenance on aquatic facility plant and equipment including the maintenance of water quality. Upon successful completion, the student will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.

It is an industry requirement for students to complete a refresher course every 5 years after receiving the Pool Plant Operator certificate.
