The Pool Plant Operator course will provide the student with the skills and knowledge required to perform routine checks and complete minor maintenance on aquatic facility plant and equipment, including water quality maintenance.
Upon successful completion, the student will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.

Students have 6 months to complete all aspects of the course - theory and practical.
3 month extensions (maximum of 2) are available for a set fee.

Assessment Task 1

Observe a qualified Pool Plant Operator complete water tests on 2 separate occasions. Under the supervision of a qualified Pool Plant Operator, complete pool water tests on 2 separate occasions.
Assessment Task 3
Video Assessment - students must video and upload footage of themselves completing Pool Water Tests for Free and Total Chlorine, PH, Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness.
Maintain Aquatic Facility Plant and Equipment

Video Assessment - students must video and upload footage of themselves completing a routine inspection of plant equipment.
Develop and Implement Pool Water Maintenance Procedures
